Appearance: A TDB Japanese teenager. Dream Darkness's costume is a frilly, flattering confection of purple (primary) and pink (secondary). Charm points: sword with heart-shaped guard, evil tiara, purple lipstick. The transformation item is a sword-shaped keychain attachment. Don't tell her anything looks like cheap plastic.

How did you become a super villain?

I spent years running around trying to 'save the world from selfish ambitions' while also studying. And guess what? Neither worked! Being up every night tanked my grades and the world was just as full of jerks as it was before. When my high school entry results came though, I was done.

What kinds of plots do you prefer?

Acquiring phenomenal cosmic power. Material wealth isn't a big deal, for me. But it helps.

What would you say your long term goal is for super villainy?

Tear down this world's facade of lies and show people their real hearts. And then - make them mine!

Do you have any preferred kind of target?

People who think their dreams are pure. They're always lying to themselves, and it makes me sick.

Do you have a nemesis or more than one? If not, do you want one?

Dream Sunrise keeps trying to call me, but I blocked her number. She's busy dealing with King Overcast anyway.

What types of super hero do you like most and least?

Heroes are all hypocrites, but hot-blooded brats are particularly bad.

Are their any super powers you wish you had?

It'd be nice to be able to fly one day.

Who's your favorite super villain other than yourself?

The Scarlet Queen has a good style.

A material girl in a material world.

Ishtar was a child of wealthy Italian business people and a first-year archeology major when she stumbled into an ancient temple of the Goddess Ishtar during a dig in southern Iraq. Along and trapped in the lightless void underground, she found herself treading towards a moonlit altar. Touching it, her hair became as spun gold and her skin like alabaster, as if the spirit watching over the temple had chosen her to inherit the powers contained therein.

Instead of using her abilities to convince world leaders to support popular causes or curing people of phobias, she mostly just lives in decadent luxury, committing crimes to fund her lifestyle.

Real Name: Isabella Guideschi

Appearance: Blonde, red-eyed and delicately pale. Tends to wear a lot of expensive real jewelry and enjoys a variety of fanciful tops. Does not wear pants (although leggings are fine too).

How did you become a super villain?

A wise man once said that the best way to make money is to start your own religion, and he didn't even have godlike powers. But saving up the money to get a church and going through all the paperwork is a huge pain, so I'd rather just get famous and let fanatically devoted people do that for me.

What kinds of plots do you prefer?

Something flashy and dramatic, that shows the status quo just how powerless it is. Above all else though, it should make people love me.

What would you say your long term goal is for super villainy?

Rulership is boring and ambitious people tend to make secular power change hands very fast. I want to be loved. By everyone.

Do you have any preferred kind of target?

I like to attack the people that everyone secretly hates and people will love me for hurting. The leaders of nations, bankers, celebrities who use their power carelessly.

Do you have a nemesis or more than one? If not, do you want one?

The only man to tell me no, Golden Bull. I wound up creating some dandy wild man to keep him busy for a while but last I heard they're fighting crime together as the kind of dynamic duo that would be extra scandalous in the Middle East.

What types of super hero do you like most and least?

People without panache and use plain military hardware and sensible tactics are the worst. Though I wouldn't mind socializing with a few millionaire playboys, if you know what I mean.

Are their any super powers you wish you had?

I wish I was good with technology. There's a feeling I might get left behind given how fast tech is progressing.

Who's your favorite super villain other than yourself?

That aquamarine-haired internet pop star who has millions of slavishly devoted followers making thousands of hours of music in her name is pretty cool. I hope we don't have to butt heads eventually.

Real Name: Smith (possibly fake, first name unknown)

Appearance: A huge man in liquid metal armour, with a flowing, black beard, and full hair. His signature weapon, the Protean Hammer, resembles a huge, amorphous Iron weapon that changes shape as it moves, wreathed in fire. He often can be seen sporting other weapons he has created, for himself or his minions, ranging from medieval swords to assault weapons to heavy rocket launchers.

How did you become a super villain?

I found a magical hammer while on my apprentice-ship for my craft, locked away in a sealed vault somewhere next to a melted anvil. What I found next is none of your business! A Forgekeeper's secrets are his own!

What kinds of plots do you prefer?

I'm a big fan of stealing new weaponry I can study and replicate. I tend to prefer the direct approach, so it's easy enough to piss off a bunch of super-pigs and get them to bring out the big artillery. Gives me a chance to expand my craft.

What would you say your long term goal is for super villainy?

To develop a weapon powerful enough to destroy a planet. Not this one, any planet will do. Doesn't have to have people on i.

Do you have any preferred kind of target?

Military bases and weapon development labs. I like to stay abreast of new technologies.

Peacemaker hates my guts, and I want those guns of hers...his....hell, there's been so many of them and I've killed at least one. Did I kill the last one? Or was that that goth-magicgirl Dream Darknesswhatever?

What types of super hero do you like most and least?

I'm a big fan of bestial heroes, claws and close-in combat, since they're often fairly easy to blast at range or pummel into the ground. I'm not a big fan of psychic heroes - while they squish real fine, I'm not exactly good at parrying mind control, you know?

Are their any super powers you wish you had?

Hyper-cognition. My powers are limited by my ability to concentrate and visualize, so having superhuman mental faculties would greatly increase my power.

Who's your favorite super villain other than yourself?

I'm legally obligated to say my current boss, Ishtar, but if you want a real answer...I really like Valkyrie's style. She's got that whole rogue agent of the gods thing and she's got quite a good pitch for the necessity of military proliferation.

To change the present course of history toward a better end.

How did you become a super villain?

Laugh at me will they? Call my designs "reckless and irresponsible" will they? I'll show them! I'LL SHOW THEM ALL!

What kinds of plots do you prefer?

Anything that lets me get my hands on new and experimental technology I can incorporate into my designs. Alloy recipes, power cell and weapon schematics, that sort of thing. So long as I get to blow something up though, I'm cool with just about anything. I mean, I've gotta field test these autonomous grenade prototypes sooner or later, right?

What would you say your long term goal is for super villainy?

To prove the viability and combat superiority of my robotics designs... while causing as much mayhem along the way as possible, naturally.

Do you have any preferred kind of target?

Military R&D facilities, cybernetics labs, and Boy Bands. Seriously, who even listens to that crap?

That would probably be Alchemist. God, I hate her SO MUCH! Smug, magical hipster dork... always talking down to me like I'm a little kid or something. I mean, we're practically the same age! Just because I'm shorter than her and less... ugh! Nevermind!

What types of super hero do you like most and least?

I like cyborgs a lot, since they're easier for me to counter and come loaded with all sorts of neat goodies I can study after Noodles is done smashing them up. I can't stand magical heroes though. They're always so smug and mysterious, with their hoods and their robes and their mumbly incantations... Plus their powers are hard to defend against. Watching your latest prototype get turned into a pile of angry marmots gets old after a while.

Are their any super powers you wish you had?

Shapeshifting would be cool to have, since then I could turn my skin into metal, or my hands into chainsaws, or just stretch my arms to reach those really awkward spots when I'm tinkering with Noodles. Powerful and versatile.

Who's your favorite super villain other than yourself?

If I had to choose, I guess I'd pick Alloy. I've always admired people who can turn a bad situation into something positive like that, especially when it lets them take tank shells to the face without flinching.
