Downtown is the Loop and the Near North Side. Chicago is heavily linked by CTA buses and the L trains, which use disposable bus passes. There are lots of 2-6 unit apartment buildings

The Halsted Chantry

Main Chicago Chantry. Currently occupied by MiBs and other Technocracy soldiers. Operates via a number of cabals, all currently in disarray.

Hecate - Local Virtual Adept. She has been operating from an undisclosed location since the Techno Raids.

St. Catherine's Hospital

In North Lawndale on Roosevelt, a place of healing within a violent community. Backed by the Archdiocese and several local small churches, as well as the Celestial Chorus.

Uptown Hospice Patrol

A drug rehab and detox clinic in Uptown, raided by the ATF as a Meth lab.

• Derek Maxwell - Etherite holed up at the backup base in the industrial area around Pulaski and the South Branch, with Genjo and the Saints. Abandoned his old warehouse / loft / workshop at Racine & Randolph.
• Olivia Mason - Ecstatic, currently trying to calm people down in Englewood (a neighborhood about as bad as South Central LA, now on fire) on the Southwest Side.

Traditional Educational Council of Chicago

Chantry leadership. Planned to offer free education in a classical (Hermetic) style from a school in the Polish neighborhood on the Far Southwest side. Currently branded as a dangerous cult.

• Nigel Ondayo - South African Chorister, captured by the Technocracy and was being held temporarily in the Chicago area office until rescued by the full might of team Chicago.

All Saints Rec Centre

Gym / Dojo in Pilsen next to Old St. Michael's Church, for training students in (Akashic) mental discipline and martial arts. Busted by the anti-gang task force as part of the supposed 18th St. Saints.

• Andre Zavaros - Local boxer turned Akashic, head of the cabal. Hardcore martial artist with a badass Oni mask.

• Mike Tran - Vietnamese Akashic, Zavaros's student turned Technocratic Traitor. Tried to frame Derek. Killed a techno-sniper, and was apparently having second thoughts about being a techno. Stabbed to death by Cara.
• Danny Alessio - Extremely zealous Christian Chorister from Cicero and retired Marine. Did a lot of bad things in the Corps, confided in Tran. Drives a truck, and tried to torture and kill Derek. Fond of heavy weaponry, such as the M72 LAW, which he used on the technocrat construct to great effect.

Technocracy Command

Hyde Park is a rich, heavily policed neighborhood on the South Side that is home to much of Chicago's intellectuals and the University of Chicago. Technocratic involvement is highly suspected, but the area is closed to Chantry agents.

Great Lakes Naval Base, aka NAVFAC MW, up on the North Shore, is the stronghold of Castar the bastard ItXer. It is the main basic training facility for US Navy Sailors.

Progenitors

The UIC Medical Sciences Research Complex at Taylor and Wolcott is home to numerous leading researchers in the biomedical sciences, and is part of the vast University of Illinois at Chicago campus. Located very close to many different medical colleges, the complex of multiple buildings is part of a vast linked tunnel system, which contains a number of mysterious underground lab areas, such as Building 917, which is kept extremely secure. Local Magi suspect considerable Progenitor involvement.

Syndicate

The Chicago Financial District on LaSalle Street in the Loop is home to countless banks. Looking down from where the street ends is the Chicago Board of Trade, home of the Chicago Stock Exchange. One of the highrises on LaSalle is a Syndicate stronghold, with the Northbank Center being the most likely candidate.

New World Order

The Chicago Emergency Response Communications building is located at Damen and Roosevelt. This facility coordinates all of the Chicago cameras, the 911 and 311 network, and major emergency response. It is also located right across the street from the Chicago area FBI office. The NWO is all over this area. Home of the NWO's BIOC secret lair.

Other Areas

Chinatown - near State and Cermak, straight south of downtown. Possible supernatural Triad gangsters, Nephandi?

Cicero - Chicago near suburb, 90%+ Hispanic, mafia dominated. Syndicate? Vampires?

Argonne National Laboratory - Located in the further suburbs, heavily secure government laboratory. There are technocrats here guaranteed, same with Fermilab in another suburb.
