“Man has long be able to free himself from the tyranny of the law of other men. It is time he free's himself from the tyranny of the laws of nature itself.”

Central Tenets

Reality is consumed by limits and the laws of the physical.
The laws of reality distort the rational mind and limit it's perspectives
By abandoning the primacy of reality and embracing virtuality, you embrace true freedom of thought and expression.
Never forgot reality, for therein lies the rot of sentience.

History

Cyphelian Transcendentalism, or Cyphelism, was founded by the futurist/engineer/rationalist Dr. Alexi Cyphel in the 2190s after he was forcibly uploaded along with the rest of the New Archangel colony by posthuman machinery.

Beliefs

Cyphelism is broadly considered a form of post-human philosophy and vehemently denies being a religious movement.

Cyphelism believe in the transcendance to a virtual existance, uploading themselves as digital constructs into servers where each is given free reign to construct their own reality, or consent with others for a shared consentual reality.

They reject reality, the world existing outside their computational servers as a limited venue for consciousness, one is which the mind is tortured by dreams and thoughts that are unable to be realised.

They embrace the virtual, where the mind is ruler, where thoughts are given free reign to shape as they desire, where the petty limits of physics are reduced to a minimum.
