Bio:

Whisper is a young Nephilim, the result of indiscretions on the part of advanced Ophanum scouts who arrived on Earth years ahead of even the rest of the Ophanum reconnaissance screen. Born in a Freezone community, Whisper grew up without many of the benefits of living in a City State, and is certainly out of touch with what most people would consider current social trends, something exacerbated by her tendency to wander rather than stay in a single community. Although adept with wielding, like most Nephilim, the seemingly magical abilities are not the main focus of her life.

Blessed (or, perhaps, cursed) with a sense of extreme wanderlust, Whisper is driven by a desire to see more; the ruins of Old World cities, the strange landscapes that can be found in the wilderness outside the cities and relatively safe areas of Freezones, the glittering technological towers of the City States (well, eventually), anything and everything is listed somewhere on her 'things to see' list. She is sensible enough, however, to realise that she has neither the skill or experiance to head into places like the Great Wastes alone, not if she wants to survive the experiance, so thus far, she has been content to wander the 'safe' zones along caravan routes and near settlements, sometimes alone, sometimes as a caravan guard for private traders.

Even the safer areas of the wilds are not an easy environment; bandits and strange creatures abound. Alongside the threats, however, there are also opportunities. Meteorite fragments and other strange materials, not to mention valuable animals and plants all offer potentially fantastic financial rewards, as Whisper herself has discovered with the sale of a moderately valuable meteorite fragment she stumbled over by complete accident on her wanderings. As a result of this unexpected windfall, she has been able to outfit herself with equipment far superior to the fairly primitive kit she had previously been using.

Despite her fairly young age, Whisper is well aware of how tough life can be in the Freezones, and it determined that she, personally, will not add to that difficulty, and she is more than willing to help defend those who lack the means to adequately defend themselves. So far, this attitude hasn't gotten her into trouble, but sooner or later, her luck is bound to run out and place her squarely in the path of something or some one that will be difficult to stop. So far, however, the most dangerous situation this attitude has put her in is trying to break up a bar fight or two, or helping drive off animal attacks from small settlements.


Appearance:

Whisper is significantly taller than a normal human, and shows obvious marks of her Ophanum descent. Her dark hair is worn short, and she is generally grimy from days or even weeks of travel. Generally, she is festooned with pouches, bags and other equipment (ie, think a female STALKER with horns and a tail :p).
