1. What triggered your eruption and why?
It'll sound lame, but I slept in the morning of a physics final. I ran down to take the city subway when a jumped made them close it down for longer than I could afford. I was still reeling and exhausted from a track meet the day before, but I hit the pavement and ran to campus until it felt like my legs were going to split open. Maybe they did- but before I had a chance to see the consequences I was somehow already at my desk, pencil in hand and package out in front of me. It didn't take me too long to put two and two together, and went into a hospital to get checked out.
2. When you were young, you had an idol of sorts, real or imaginary. How did this influence your powers?
I'm not sure what I can say. Olympic track stars, soccer players, basketball players- I even had some posters of the local hockey team, nothing that could really affect my powers and how they turned out. I had a big Bruce Lee phase when I was younger, but not much else.
3. You make plenty of money from Team Tomorrow, celebrity endorsements, speaking roles, and more. Yet you prefer to donate significant amounts to charity. What charity and why?
I give a lot of my revenue to a scholarship program, whatever I don't need to live comfortably and travel as much as I want to. Education gave me the opportunities that would have been invaluable if I hadn't erupted, something I think about a lot. And I guess... being rich hasn't really sunken in yet. I'll graduate to solid gold belt buckles and watches when my pay grade makes that a trivial expense.
4. How did you get your codename? Did you make it up yourself or did you get a consultant to do it?
A lot of guys can go fast. I can go faster than a lot of them. Naming myself after some of the fastest aircraft ever built was a coup- although I did make sure to check in with a consultant so it'd sound right and wasn't already taken by someone with a shitty power or a good legal team.
5. Being a nova is about having the power to change the world in fashions that suit your viewpoint. What is the one thing in the world you would most like to change?
I'm not that political or philosophical, so I'll keep it simple. I want end racism and make social mobility a given for anybody willing to put in the time, instead of a shot in the dark. Yeah. Those sound like pretty good things to throw my weight behind.

3. When someone is monologuing to you dramatically as if things are about to happen it's probably a sign they're really going to do something.
