Dogma v2

Exp-1) World Type

Terraformable World (Go to Exp-4)

Exp-4) Terraformable World
Rich in water, Dogma is a temperate to hot world of expansive swamps and rain, circular seas and oceans. If Earth's moon suddenly gained a biosphere, it would look a lot like this. The existing fauna and flora was, unfortunately, not fully compatible with human requirements.

Exp-8) Posthuman Footsteps
Like many-faceted diamonds, a number of posthuman drones orbit the sun like artificial comets, evading all attempts at in-depth study with the aid of their superior drives. Even the researches with the best-engineered brains can only decypher a miniscule part of their secrets - and that little glimpse gives them the feeling that someone is laughing at their efforts.

"Gentlemen, we seem to be at an impasse. Each of our strategies for engineering a perfected society is incompatible with the others. But do not worry, empirical testing shall reveal the true path! Naturally, we will have to replicate the existing population once for each theory, but we should be able to fit it into the budget!"

Cur-1) The Business of Government
Dogma's economy is planned by its hyperintelligent ruling caste, who ensures the compliance of the masses through techiques ranging from subtle value-engineering in the formative years to outright addiction and brain implants - for their own good. The more extreme measures are slowly being phased out as the preferred model of society becomes self-reinforcing and self-sustaining.
For choices with an X/Y format, only one can be chosen.

Col-7A) Local Affairs
Doctor Yang's attempts to splice human and indigenous DNA succeeded and failed at the same time. The resulting creatures could indeed survive the planet's conditions unassisted and were fairly intelligent. However, they were in no way model citizens, as he must have realised when sentient vines cracked his lab door's combination and devoured him. The escaped hybrids would prove to be a vast boon to neural networking research in the following decades, after their rampant growth had been contained and they could be properly studied.
