As the “Foundation War” waged on and the Solar Coalition Government collapsed under the weight of endless war and system after system declaring independence one man watched on in growing anger and hatred. Francisco Poulini, a member of the Noblesse class and governor of the Rialda star system slowly became convinced that he knew what the cause of the troubles was and who was behind it. As the war waged on he began to see the conspiracies take shape and finally drew the truth from the matter. The Colonial races, those inferior humans that had betrayed the founding fleet centuries ago to start their own colonies were obviously behind it all. With this knowledge in hand and a burning passion to see the glory of the Solar race restored Francisco began collecting followers first among the citizens of his own system and then nearby worlds. Although initially loyal to the SCG council the True Solar Front under Poulini’s leadership quickly grew disillusioned with the council believing their incompetence in running the war and their unwillingness to put down planetary populations of “Colonials” meant only one thing. In the final month of 840 PD Francisco Poulini, surrounded by his elite Guard and the leadership of the TSF declared that the SCG council were race traitors infected by the scourge that was the Colonial conspiracy. With that one declaration the TSF and its systems officially became a separate state from the SCG as well as entering into a state of war with both the SCG and the League of Democratic Worlds.

The Purification War 841- 845: After the TSF managed to secure its resources and territory by expelling or destroying the traitorous SCG fleets and troops they quickly went on the offensive seizing a rather large amount of territory before finally being halted by a concerted SCG effort. During the four years of the Purification war the leadership of the TSF managed to root out and purge thousands of Colonial sympathizers and race traitors while also managing to put the colonial populations in their place. When the War ended the TSF emerged with positive gains in terms of territory, wealth and a solid treaty ensuring that none of the major powers would intervene within the area designated as the TSF sphere.

Present Day: Although he is older Francisco Poulini still rules over the Empire he created with an iron fist ensuring that his people remain strong and the enemies of the master race remain firmly in their place under heel. Although none too loved by their neighbors the truth of the matter is the TSF presently has too much military might and is just too “far away” to be interfered with by any of the major powers though they maintain icy relations with the “mongrel nations” to this day.

Culture: The culture of the TSF has become one of rigid classism based not on economic status or education level but instead upon “race”. These class lines have evolved into two distinct “levels” of citizen within the TSF.
Solars: These are the descendants of people who colonized worlds as a part of the original founding fleet. These citizens are entitled to a number of basic rights not too dissimilar from those found in the other civilized Nations of the galaxy; though they are heavily indoctrinated into loyalty to the ruling party and the superiority of their race. Militarily Solars make up the bulk of the cruiser and capital ship crews as well as the elite ground forces in civilian life Solars make up the entire educated work force.
Colonist/Collie: The colonist class makes up the absolute bottom tier of society, they have no rights or privileges under the law and are often abused and mistreated on the whims of their masters. Militarily Colonists make up the bulk of “expendable” ship crews such as those on light warships as well as the bulk of the largely disposable ground forces of the TSF armed forces.

Military: The TSF military is divided into three branches: Solar Space Force: The SSF is responsible for all space born operations undertaken by the TSF and controls the fleets of warships and merchant craft responsible for protecting and expanding the Empire and keeping trade goods flowing.
Doctrine: The TSF is an aggressive expansionist power and as such has a fleet that prides itself on firepower and survivability. The TSF operates “battleship groups” much like other great powers, which is are permanent operating squadrons of a battleship leading a flotilla of cruisers and frigates. It is important to note that the TSF is one of the few militaries to operate “battlecruiser” class vessels which in the case of the TSF Space Force are slightly upsized cruisers armed with a battery of battleship grade Ion lance weapons in favor of fewer conventional weapons. These battlecruisers often operate in their own battlegroups leading a squadron of frigates or cruisers.

Army: The Army is responsible for all planetary operations, though fairly well equipped and funded they pale in comparison to the forces of the Chosen Legion. The vast bulk of the Army is made up of lightly armed and armored Colonial class citizens while the elite “Armored Core” brigades are made up of pure Solar members.

Chosen Legion: The Chosen Legion is in a word the private military of the Ruler of the TSF himself; made up entirely of Solar citizens that have been thoroughly vetted and indoctrinated this Chosen Legion acts as bodyguard and enforcer for Francisco Poulini and his cronies throughout TSF Space. It is known that the Chosen Legion has at least one battleship group under its command as well as at least two armored infantry and one mechanized division.
