Bio

Born to unknown parents, Tashi spent the first half of her life growing up in a monastery-chantry for a Tibetan sect, studying to become a consor. Often called a layabout by her fellow students, Tashi spent more time sneaking down the mountain to the nearby village to watch anime and explore mortal pursuits than she did mastering her studies. In time, however, the Technocracy began expanding their operations in China into Tibet. Several large scale battles were fought with the various Tibetan sects before the Technocracy managed to drive them out- and capture those who could not escape. Tashi's sect was destroyed, nearly to a man while she had been out of the chantry, visiting a friend in a nearby village. Horrified, she immediately tried to return, seeking to aid her fellows- only to get caught in a Technocracy cordon seeking reality deviant sympathizers in the surrounding region. With her back to the wall, and doom closing in on all sides, Tashi broke through and Awakened as a Time mage. Her talent, wild and unfocused, reached backwards in time, and caught the attention of another student of Time Magick, the sole practitioner of Izanagi-Ryu.

Shu Izanagi, thus, made certain to be there on the day when Tashi Awoke. He saved her, and became a mentor, and she, his apprentice. He chose to pass on the Izanagi-Ryu to her, as well as other knowledge- but frequently found her zeal for learning outstripped his own. In time, Tashi adopted the name 'Goshawk', growing into a headstrong young woman with a scheming side- and more and more, bringing to mind the friends Shu left behind when he departed Arcus Prima all those years ago. It probably didn't help that Tashi is an avid anime fan, accepts technology as a fact of life, and looks like a ten years younger Kana cosplaying Sakamoto Miyo.
