Leeg worlds:

  • Isshu: A hot, dry but lifebearing world settled by Japanese idealists leaving the turmoil of late C21st Japan. Well-placed for trade and relatively hospitable, leading to a large population and the situation of the League Central Congress. Credibly democratic.
  • Jorge: A vicious series of civil wars on this icy planet were recently decisively won by the insurgent Hybar Republic, which promptly allied with the nascent League to better secure its rule against internal dissent and disgruntled Solarian creditors of the former government.
  • Jio: A high-radiation environment and a botched gene-template have led to low population growth on this world, and in turn, extensive use of automation to brave the intensely hostile 'hot caves' and their silicate pseudolife on mining expeditions. This expertise was later invested into developing 'mobile doll' autonomous combat units.
  • Kaplan: Hot, humid, low-gravity hyperbaric world noted for slender forests and dirigible life. A source of biotechnological products. Governed by the Interim Colonial Development Directorate, which never turned over power to the World Parliament as was planned. Extensive cover and human-survivable climate make it a good place to hide.
  • New Zanzibar: A largely spacenoid colony above a 'primordial soup' planet. Initially a policy of non-interference was enforced by the scientific-idealist colonial government. The inevitable trickle of slippages and the rise of new generations led to the breakdown of this policy. Nevertheless, most of the population remains spacebound, as the surface is actually quite unpleasant and inconvenient for travel compared to the climate-controlled O'Niells the population are used to.
