• Magical Beam: Shoot a beam.
  • Advanced Beam: Your beam can whip, fragment, submunition or maybe even home. Aids to-hit rolls and is more visually exciting.
  • Buster Beam: You can charge your beam for more damage and greater Heart efficiency.
• Shield: Create a personal shield of some kind.
  • Sentinel: You can create shields around other people and things.
• Teleportation: You can beam from one place to another with effort and SFX.
  • Blink: Fast teleportation. Too slow!

Minamoto Momiji

Description: The daughter of a former USAF pilot and a japanese woman, Momiji (who for legal reasons has her mother's family name) has spent several years in the US at various times, interspersed with time at different places in Japan. This has left her generally bereft of long-term friends and a general shyness and insularity due to teasing she has recieved over things ranging from her blonde hair to her height to her Japanese-accented English to her English-accented Japanese. She prefers the company of books or the internet. Visually she is classically attractive, though (by Japanese standards) tall and shapely. Her long blonde hair is in a hime cut.

Magic Girl Name: Puella Magicka Verdant Momiji

Description: Transformed into a Puella Magicka, Momiji's hair acquires the color of autumn foliage while her eyes become brilliant green. Her outfit is a long flowing white dress and white knee boots, both with an underlayer of deep reddish-purple with a hem of maple leaves. Most importantly her personality changes dramatically, becoming far more outgoing, aggressive, often uncouth and somewhat reckless.

Power 1: Whispered Rustle of Autumn With the faint touch of a cool breeze through an ornamental garden, Momiji vanishes into a swarm of greenish-mauve leaves to reappear in a swirl someplace distant.

Power 2: Sublime Floral Screen An instant before any ranged attack would strike Momiji, a cloud of golden-red leaves appears interposed, scattering the attack away harmlessly.

Hinanawi Kaguya

Description: Braided/flowing waist length black hair, dark brown eyes behind rimless glasses/coloured contacts, slightly above average height.

Kaguya is a fairly ordinary high school student and part-time fashion model of some renown, Kaguya tries her best to keep her work and her personal life separate. With the aid of her agent-mother, a former Geisha, she has crafted a casual appearance that conceals her natural good looks, permitting her to avoid the inevitable unwanted advances. In her free time, she joins her friends on trips downtown to keep up with the latest trends or to feed a danmaku arcade machine with money, all funded by her cut of her salary. She has recently joined the Tea Ceremony club, mainly at the behest of her mother that she "learn some useful skills". This has led to an unfortunate reduction in gaming time (studying, shopping and work too important to miss).

Seed Jewel: White sarashi embroidered with orchids in gold thread. Turns into sash during transformation.

Description: Kaguya's hair turns a white-pink-purple, white near the roots growing deeper near the tips, while her eyes turn a golden yellow, the colours of her totem flower. Her outfit varies slightly (mainly in colours) from season to season as the trends change, but generally includes a top with long detached sleeves, short frilly skirt and thighhighs

Kamino Chiri

Kamino Chiri is an ordinary middle class Japanese girl who is small of stature and cute rather than beautiful. Her hair orange and actually just past shoulder length though the way she ties them into their pigtails makes it seem shorter. She is a card-carrying pettanko but is considered to have decent legs by the male student body, which helps as her magic girl uniform involves thigh highs. Her big pink-rose-gemstone eyes are rather more striking than the rest of her, and have highly reflective quality should one meet them for any length of time.

Chiri has several mundane superpowers, amongst which is the ability to eat any amount of sweets and baked goods without getting fat (or tall, or any better endowed). She does very well in useless subjects like Art and Social Studies and poorly in useful ones like Math, the Sciences and English. She is especially bad at Phys Ed where she is part of the laggard pack, barely ahead of the dying sick girls and the anemic meganekko that konks out during warm-up. She is a superb cook though, and especially good at baking since she has worked part time at her mother's bake shop since she was little and inherited most of her powers in that regard. The kitchen is one of the places where her mild though noticeable streak of klutziness never manifests.

Because of her appearance and characteristics, she interests a smaller, different subset of males than most of the rest of the cast, such as the shyest of the shy boys drawn to her kind heart, the creepy lolicon English teacher, or many who have tasted her cooking once and dream of eating it daily. Of course, Chiri is kind to a fault and tries to see the good parts of everybody. In day to day life she tries hard to be helpful. She has not been known to become romantically attracted to anyone at all however.

She is the pinkest and girliest of the Summer Knights troupe and the Heart of the group if there was any. Although quite hapless at first, Chiri is thought to have unfathomable potential as a magic girl.

Chiri has a Mysterious Onee-chan in college, Kamino Fuki, who lives alone (as opposed to Chiri who lives with dad). She is incredibly accomplished in various academic and athletic pursuits. Although Chiri admires her Big Sis a great deal indeed, it is unknown how Fuki sees her in return.

Magic Girl Name: Falling Cherry Blossom

Seed Jewel: Ring on her left middle finger with incredibly tiny imagery of a cherry blossom season engraved on the surface.

Description: Her magic girl costume spans the pink spectrum and contains frilly bloomers (if you look under the skirt, you pervert), frilled white thighhighs tied off with ribbons, and various frilly/beribboned accoutrements to the dress. The fabric ranges white to light pink, her hair is a more vibrant pink and some of the thinner ribbons and those in her hair are a shade closer to rose.

Power 1: Cherry Blossoms Adrift in the Spring Breeze - With proximity, concentration, and a special effect of sakura petals of magenta light flowing away from her body to the patient's Chiri can heal any person besides herself. The effect of this magic is incredibly dramatic and always wholesome with copious magenta light washing away even the most visceral details. However, even minor injuries seems to take a lot out of Chiri.

Power 2: Hidden Miracles - The tip of the iceberg of Chiri's true power. When something terrible would happen, especially to someone she cares about, she can become instantly aware of the crisis as a deep feeling of unease and burn Heart instinctively to sometimes avert that fate in a coincidental way.

Description: Rich, aristocratic, and self-assured, Akemi is a driven girl with high expectations. She tends to be a bit dismissive of those with hardships, due to a disconnect with them. She her black hair is bound up in a twin-tails style and permed into French-style coils. She is an avid member of the student council, and takes a direct stance on organizing class events and guest speakers. Wants to take over her family business, but has to compete with her brother for it, who is the currently favoured one by tradition.

Seed Jewel: A golden necklace with a gold carnation flower blossom, etched with patterns.

Description: Akemi's hair straightens out in her magic girl form, and she gains a regal-looking yellow magic girl outfit with thigh-stockings and boots. She also sports a yellow cape fastened with a golden carnation clasp, and an ornate golden crown also in the shape of a carnation flower.

June Nishimura

Description: Clearly of mixed race with her reddish-brown hair and blue eyes, June stands out among her peers in high school and has subsequently always tried her best to stay out of the limelight. Because of excessive teasing over the years, she's shy and conservative in her manner, but is also kind and understanding. She's adopted her Japanese heritage almost completely, although she has some stereotypically New Zealander traits like a love of lamb and Sunday rugby. Slightly tall and a bit bustier than most of her classmates, with short bob-cut hair.

Description: June's hair become bright violet and her eyes become a more piercing shade of blue, while her outfit consists of a stylized purple western-style coat printed with a pattern that emulates her totem flower, with detached sleeves and pointed coattails. She wears bike shorts and thigh-high stockings with ankle-length boots, topped with a purple beret.

Description: Black hair down to her back, brown eyes hidden behind blue-rimmed, round glasses. Utterly calm, but not in a cold manner. Graceful and possessing a slight, warm smile. She is average in most of her studies and athletics, but excels at the sciences. Easy to get along with. Has an incurable love of hot chocolate.

Description: Her hair grows longer, down past her waist, tied into a braid by silver clasps. A shimmering blue hue flows through the midnight black tresses like a cascading river (hence her name). She no longer wears glasses, but the blue from them goes to her eyes. She wears a deep purple skort, black ankle boots, and a lavender, button-down shirt. Over these is a midnight blue haori.

Agnieszka Poniatowska

'The Camomile; The more it is trodden on, the faster it grows'.

Description:

Agnieszka was born in Poland, in a neighborhood that could be only described as “of questionable repute”. Nevertheless, despite growing up amidst those who are detested by the society, instead of giving up and falling into depths of delinquency, she became a kind and cheerful girl, always trying to see good points in others, even those that the society gave up on and branded as thugs, and never refusing to help those in need. However, she does have a reputation for being “pretty scary” on the rare occasions that someone manages to anger her.

Despite her somewhat rough appearance, Agnieszka is very smart – and pursues her education with great determination, wanting to prove to both herself and to others that despite being born in a rough neighborhood she is no worse than anyone else. Her personal dream is to study at Jagiellonian University in Krakow.

Her knowledge of Japanese is, surprisingly enough, independent of that, however. Her grandmother was Japanese, and came to Poland with her grandfather due to what she was told were “extremely complicated circumstances”. Nevertheless, she taught Agnieszka the Japanese language, which she took to with her characteristic determination.

She arrived in Japan as a part of a school exchange program, once it was discovered that the somewhat rough around the edges, but hard-working girl was the only one in the entire city who knew Japanese at conversational level. Currently, she is imposing on her grandmother’s side of family concerning housing, and while her limited practical experience with Japanese customs can sometimes cause some confusion or a faux pas, her seemingly endless supply of optimism and curiosity about the nation she is now living in is pushing her forwards.

Agnieszka herself is quite tall, even by Polish standards, and in very good shape. She usually wears her black hair short and somewhat unkempt, though she has been trying to care more about it recently in order to look more representative. When not in school uniform, she usually wears some variety of tracksuit.
