Sei

Concept: Necromancer catgirl

Role: Crowd Control

Bio: Sei was discovered after AEGIS was sent to investigate complaints of bad dreams and reports of pet attacks in Scotland; investigations resulted in zombies, ghosts, and strange dreams for the investigators. When they found the source, in a small house in the highlands, the first thing the agent saw was a shadow against the door - with two long ears wiggling in the candlelight.

Sei was subjected to many tests upon returning to the organization, which she endured almost cheerfully. While seemingly benign, her unsettling power to absorb souls gave the organization pause; after deliberation and her own request, she joined the organization as an agent.

According to Sei, she was born in Britain to Japanese parents. She claims she manifested her cat ears and a tail (although no tail is visible...) sometime around her middle teens. She is *not* a Scottish Fold, and becomes rather irate if she's referred to as such.

Appearance: Sei is a slender, short girl with a cheery demeanor. She has a pair of cat's ears on the sides of her head, replacing human ears, black like her hair. Other cat-like features include small claws, a 'tail' (unseen), and sharp teeth. Her eyes are human, and blue.

Powers: Sei trafficks in spirits and souls; her magic allows her to consume them into herself, absorbing their essence and dominating them, as well as controlling external souls. She uses the menagerie of spirits inside her to manipulate the environment, possessing objects and people and invading their minds - she can also use them to possess corpses, animating them with spectral power. She can also enter dreams; naturally, she can see the dead and spectral presences.

After rigorous tests, it was proven that Sei does not hunger for more souls, and has no compulsion to devour them. She does assimilate souls, however, though mediums have commented that her internal spiritual landscape has been shaped into a paradise, where the souls undergo varying fantasies ranging from heavenly to nightmarish. Some mediums refuse to work with her after this, claiming the world shaped itself to their internal desires in an effort to snare them.
