- The warlock observes a target's essence pattern and simulates it within her mind. This allows her to understand the emotions, urges, needs, and desires that drive the target. This Charm does not read minds, nor is it infallible. The simulation merely extrapolates how the target would react to given stimuli. Whether this provides enough information to discern any, some, or all of its motivation and/or intimacies is entirely up to the Storyteller.
- In combat, the Charm allows the warlock to remain one step ahead of a simulated target by predicting its moves. As long as the warlock keeps motes committed to this Charm, she adds Essence successes to all her attacks against her target, whose attacks against the warlock suffer from an external penalty of -Essence. However, the Charm forces the warlock to experience and understand her target's point of view, driving her to seek a non-violent solution to potential conflict. Unless acting in self-defence or defence of another, the warlock must fail a compassion roll or spend 1 willpower to initiate hostilities against a simulated target. Failing the compassion roll or paying willpower waives this Charm's combat benefits as the warlock struggles against his better judgement. The warlock must commit motes for each targeted individual.

She interweaves these force constructs with the very structure of her body, further reinforcing it against harm. Leftover ribbons of crystallised law coalesce into a garment iconic to that character. It is tight-fitting enough to not interfere with armour and cannot be mistaken for mundane equipment. As long as this Charm is active, the character may reflexively spend 2 motes in Step 7 of attack resolution to gain aggravated soak/hardness equal to her natural lethal soak/hardness against that attack.
