Chef Artesi, or Joachim Artesi as he is actually called, is a world famous celebrity chef. Known mostly for his ability to make people remember his recipies and feel confident in their ability to imitate them. An accomplished M-int doctor, Dr. Richter hosts a popular science program, where she looks into scientific developments around the globe. She is teaches OpNet courses on varying subjects, and coordinates several research projects of her own - all at the same time, due to her quantum ability to split her mind into multiple copies, and even project versions of herself as psychic presences. She is profoundly excited by scientific study, on and off the set - an obsession that often annoys others who have to listen to multiple conversations at once.

David "The Storm Guy" Sturm

A walking case study for reporting ethics, Sturm is a weatherman for the Mid-west US, who also happens to be Nova. In fact, his primary power happens to be weather control, which he uses to predict and accurately comment on the direction of storms, rainfall, and hurricanes. Ethical concerns have risen, however, due to his use of his powers to alter local weather patterns to a fixed, pre-detailed schedule - a fact that he often compared to other, more erratic regions. Calls for him to stop using his powers to artificially boost his area are often drowned out by happy farmers and commuters.

Frying Pan: Alexis Floros was a French-trained Greek Nova chef who erupted during a nervous breakdown after the closure of his family restaurant during the economic recession of the early 2000's. With the legs and horns of a goat, he took on the pseudonym "Frying Pan" and recreated himself as a celebrity chef who orchestrates large orgiastic parties of gastronomic indulgence in major cities across Europe. He is a weak Biomanipulator and Megasocial who specializes in pheromone and drug creation, though rumors abound that he also possesses the ability to reshape the bodies of his entourage.

Anansi: An Ghanan Nova who erupted after being bitten by a poisonous spider, Anansi is a renowned trickster much like his mythological namesake. Working as an information broker in the region, he is considered one of the major powers behind the rise of several East African states from the 3rd world and into modern developing economies. With a set four spider legs emerging from his back, and eight compound eyes, he is visually striking and often unnerving. His powers are mostly limited to strong mega-physical and mega-mental capacity, invisibility and an extensively mutated body, though he is rumored to excel at Eufiber manipulation.

Captain Apartheid: A South African Nova who was once known as Lieutenant Alphard Friese of the Apartheid regime, Captain Apartheid is an unfortunate case of a Nova's powers acting against themselves. He is a capable soldier with strong mega-physicals who fights to restore the previous order in his home nation, but his powers manifested an exact duplicate of himself- one that was visibly African and dedicated to integration. Created from his own hangups about his mixed racial heritage, he fights the clone on a daily basis, the winner becoming the loser and unconsciously recreating the other to fight the next day.

In reality, the character is a fictitious creation of Nova author and XWF fighter Casper Friese, who thought to use his cloning and shapeshifting abilities to create a platform to discuss the racial tensions that plagued the cape of the African continent for over two centuries. Both personalities are entirely constructed and made real with Nova autohypnosis techniques.
