Sakuradite
Type of Special Resource: Liquid-Crystal
Description: Sakuradite is a highly energetic substance which improves the energy production capabilities of power generation systems resulting in better engines; more powerful weapons; better shields as well as civilian power generation for cities and colonies.
Effect: Ships created with sakuradite systems have better shields and weapons compared to those from their race's ships built without adding a .5 to the "affinity" rating of the systems.
Cost: Sakuradite does come at the cost of being a somewhat dangerous material which results in containment systems being more complex to create adding a half a month to the construction time of ships with Sakuradite systems.

Adamant
Type Special Resource: Ore
Adamant is a super strong metal which is incredibly durable and capable of acting as incredible armor for troops, vehicles or even starships!
Effect: Greatly increases the armor value of a unit
Cost: Adds +1 point to the cost of a unit
