Valiance, often called "Val" by his friends, is about as close to a disenfranchised knight as you can come without actually having the title stripped away and your name run through the street as that of a traitor. Raised within the courts of the Gramhau March, he learned how to work his way through society and earned his knighthood through noble and righteous means. Much to the dismay of Valiance, his family ran afoul of the other barons and was stripped of their noble rights by the Margrave after a long and arduous period of political warfare, but thanks to his distinguished service, Valiance managed to just dodge the disenfranchisement of his family name.

Stripped of his greater nobility and feeling like he has nothing left to offer the Margrave directly or the Empire at large, he has struck out to Big Sky with his remaining possessions to bring back honor and nobility to the Elias name.

Imperial Arms MARS array (family heirloom; can use with melee and swordsman, but only in melee range) - hellishly expensive and temperamental; fire a burst of plasma armor rated to down power armor. Most definitely probably banned in more civilized places

History: A capital ship commissioned by the Elias family. It came into service shortly before the disenfranchisement of the family. Valiance managed to procure it for his own uses after negotiations with the Margrave. What he agreed to to be offered such a ship is unknown.
