Overview

Background

A child of two heroes from old earth's France, Sierra grew up in the shadow of her amazing parents, two heroes of earth who managed to avoid the tides of taint that flowed across novas there. The Sword and the Shield, had been the greatest heroes in France, even in Europe before the tides of taint washed over Earth. Sierra never knew the planet, she was born some nine month later, the first child of a new world: Renaissance. While she was never as powerful as her parents, Sierra made up for it with pure effort, constantly practicing and working to get the most out of her metahuman body. Through out her childhood she trained almost constantly, physically and mentally.

As part of this training regime, Sierra often headed out alone to the wilderness. It was while away on one of these a star fell on the colony. The star was named Glosis, ancient, godlike survivor of some long ago eruption of quantum power. It spoke to Sierra in dreams. It showed her what it planned to do to her home. It would make the colony into art. That was the last time Sierra slept. When she returned to the colony she found it in ruins. Shocked survivors told her of the great battle her parents had fought against the alien god. How they had saved Renassiance and died in the doing it. From then on Sierra knew what she would do with her life. She would finish the job her parents started and kill Glosis.

Soon after Sierra left renaissance to travel the galaxy.She has been a thief, a mercenary, a fighter. She has done things her parents would never have approved of, and trained under more martial arts masters than she can count. One day she will become powerful enough to avenge them.
