Thoroughly inhuman in appearance, being effectively indistinguishable from a combat robot, Scharf is a hunter-killer unit optimised for long-range combat. In terms of personal views, he supports upgrading, rather than extermination of humans, and so is not particularly hostile to any he encounters - as long as they do not interfere with his current mission, whatever it might be.
