Adventure Seeds

Escape from Planet Alcatraz (Action): Stripped of rank, wealth and possessions, exiles are sent to scratch out a meagre living on the barren world of Aneh. There has never been an escape . . . until now.

The Suppression of Saidan-91 (Military): The time has finally come to bring the small colony of Saidan-91 under Srivijan protection. However the locals have other ideas and have hired a number of mercenaries, turning the promised easy campaign into a quagmire.

The Conspirators (Intrigue): The Srivijan empire rests uneasily across a number of worlds and despite the best efforts of the Committee for Social Safety there is no shortage of dissidents. Some are amateurs, quickly rounded up . . . others are quite the opposite.

History

Founded by Indonesian Buddhists escaping religious persecution on 21st century Earth, Srivijaya had an uneasy relationship with ASEAN when it was recontacted decades later. Distance ensured that no wars erupted, though a broad streak of militarism did emerge.

Troubles with marooned ASEAN shipping in the 50s resulted in the rise to power of a hard-line government which has since greatly increased Srivijaya's military-industrial complex and embarked on a 'manifest destiny' campaign across its immediate area.
