Type: Sorcerer

Appearance: Min sports long, black hair, bound up behind her head. She prefers her sorcerous vestments: a red robe tied with a white cloth, adorned with arcane symbols, and a white scarf.

Biography: Living deep in the wilderness, Min pursued arcane power tirelessly. The villages surrounding her lair whispered of strange monsters and horrible dreams; rumours even persisted that she gathered an army to conquer the surrounding lands. The truth was that she wasn't actively raising an army – it just kind of happened.

Warriors, heroes, and explorers made their way to her forest retreat, attempting to defeat the sorceress. However, a collection of bound demons and mind-influencing traps stymied them, and many found themselves captured – or, more commonly, dominated to serve the sorceress. Accumulating creatures, ghosts, and slaves, she continued to pursue her powers.

The last group that became her downfall was a trio of warriors – including a woman by the name of Yen. Their journey led them to fight horrible guardians and insidious mind traps. While her servants fell to madness, Yen pressed on – such was their devotion that they sacrificed themselves to protect her, even as they desired to slay her in their delirium. Yen made it to Min's sanctum, her mind addled and her body bleeding – while it should have been a simple act to crush her, Min's spells and demonic power couldn't quite finish her. Yen fled the battle, leaving Min confused.

Yen's sacrifice shook Min to the core. She locked herself away, contemplating for a time. Adventurers found her retreat more remote than before, and found that the strange sightings were waning. Eventually, fewer came, and thus fewer died. Min herself traveled to the Netherworld, confused and thoughtful; she became more considerate in her experiments, and more empathic, trying to understand the flashes of the girl's mind. She found out, as she'd expected, that Yen was dead, and that she had been found just inside one of the portals. Min expects her soul has lingered, touched as it was with magic, and she searches for it to claim it and learn just what Yen believed.

Melodramatic Hook: To capture the soul of the one innocent person she'd killed, to figure out why she was uncorrupted while so many others failed.
