Old Magic Materials

Destruction

(c)Mage Pyrite - A ferociouly hot burning metal, also known as Thermoberyl.
(c)Ambrium - A powerful lightning generator and conductor.
(c)Crycium - Frost gems, the ultimate active heat sink. Also called "weeping stones".
(c)Hermatite - A resonance metal that amplifies sound waves to deadly levels.
(vr)Silbony - A demonic metal that is most harmful to otherworldly denizens; one of the so-called “black metals”.
(ex)Korite - A special crystal used by the Atlanteans that channels astral energy and mental force. The power of Korite is linked to the user, and its effects change with their thoughts, making it extremely hard to counter.

Creation

(c)Elixir of Life - A healing concoction, coming in various forms and known by any number of names - Wortweed, Vervaine, Regenerator G-1, and others.
(c)Protoplasma - A green, viscous slime-like mixture, Protoplasma is the ultimate tool on the Homunculi-maker's list. Capable of enabling vast genetic changes as well as splicing disparate living entities together, Protoplasma allows a mad creator to make almost anything.
(r)Titan Juice - Upon consumption of the thick liquid from an uncommonly large fruit, the physical prowess of the drinker is briefly increased by extreme proportions. Called “liquid spinach” by some for reasons lost in time, or just “the Juice”.
(vr)Tetrodotoxin - A nasty concoction that can quite literally re-animate the dead. Called Marshroot, or the T-Virus by some.
(vr)Wolfsbane - Originally thought to ward off werewolves it now appears that some extremely rare forms of this plant can induce shapeshifting.

Movement

(c)Sildron - A levitating metal of a silvery hue, also found in a more naturalistic state in the form of “Levistones”.
(c)Andalium - Anti-sildron, a darker metal that can cancel various levitation and repulsion effects.
(c)Thermidron - Pyro-Sildron, a deep red metal that shines brilliant fiery yellow under strong light, Thermidron combines the thermal effects of Mage Pyrite and the repulsive effect of Sildron.
(r)Insidium - A materiel of the deepest black, Insidium is distantly related to Crycium; a materiel that distorts and bends energy. However where Crycium is used best for making weapons, Insidium instead allows a properly-artificed unit to vanish from sight and other senses.
(vr) Mandrake Root - A plant that can be interdimensional attractant when properly used, and thus a powerful summoning tool. Also apparent in mineral form as “Wishstones.”
(vr) Aerenite - An extremely rare form of quartz that can generate gateways between two linked elements when fed with extreme
amounts of energy. It can also serve to disrupt teleport events. Also known as “Skystone.”
(vr) Irrinium - Sometimes called “Travelers Mercury”, a fantastically rare mineral of shifting form that can open up portals to other realms and dimensions.

Mental

(c)Mindex - A mental transmitter used for sending thought waves and also modifiable to receive and resonate them.
(c)Meryllium - A psionic dampener - a favourite for those irritated by pesky mentants.
(c)Synaptite - A sentient metal that can be used to give intelligence to the otherwise inanimate, and is very commonly used in artificed creatures - sometimes found in ruby-like form and called “Emperor Gems.”
(r)Calm Stone - The opposite of Synaptite, Calm Stones sap mental energy and awareness and if used in sufficient power can render a subject catatonic.
(vr)Aethyrium - A very rare gem that can be used to move a persons mind into the astral plane - when coupled with Irrinium it can even be used to contain (or steal) true souls.

Matter

(c)Adamantium - A ferociously hard and tough metal that makes fantastic edged weapons and armour. Usually dark in hue.
(c)Mithril - A lightweight, silvery metal that is flexible but resilient. While lacking the sheer toughness of Adamantium, Mithril is lighter and easier to handle.
(c)Touchstone - A lesser mutable material, able to switch between one form and another if properly manipulated.
(r)Alchemist stone - A stone that can change one set kind of material to another upon touch. Most commonly found turning lead into gold.
(vr)Weaponized Alchemist Stone - A lethal upgrade to conventional Alchemist Stones, when built specificially for weapons it has nearly instantaneous effects, allowed for fabled swords that can cleave through armor like it was butter.
(vr) Mobium - A mutable and regenerative metal, also sometimes called “Atlantean Mercury”. Rare and difficult to make.
(ex) Primium - Called “true silver”, Primium has the unique property of negating all magic cast on or near it. Possibly the rarest metal.
