Much like the Swabian League the “Kingdom of Prussia Reborn” was a group of systems sharing Germanic heritage and ancestry that had been settled and bound together over the course of centuries. When the treaty of Seta was signed these worlds came together under the charismatic leadership of William Grawert and declared the foundation of the Kingdom.

Anti-Piracy and expanding the Kingdom 845-860 PD: The first fifteen years of the Kingdom were far from easy as the fall of the SCG and the scramble of the great powers to stabilize their own economies and territories left much of the galaxy a fairly lawless place. The Kingdom of Prussia in particular suffered from numerous “pirate” attacks funded and operated out of the nearby systems of the rival “Castellan Alliance” which sought to destabilize and collapse the Kingdom so that they could seize the vast mineral wealth of the Kingdom’s worlds. King William Grawert was not the least intimidated by these pirates however and went about constructing a powerful military with ships purchased from the Swabian League insisting that only “fellow Germans” would be worthy of contracts with the Kingdom for any large scale military purchases.
With his newly founded Navy and Army King William personally led the “Crusade” to purge the sector of pirates which of course led directly to conflict with the Castellan Alliance. This war lasted for nearly a decade with King William rarely leaving the front lines of the war and suffering numerous injuries to his person as he led the Prussian forces to victory after victory. In the end the Castellan Alliance was defeated once and for all in orbit of Castell itself where the Alliance “Elite Guard” was shattered in orbit and the Castellan Queen was seized in a daring orbital drop carried out by the Prussian Death’s Head Hussars Regiment. With the unconditional surrender of Castell the entire Alliance was quickly absorbed into the Kingdom of Prussia Reborn facing a long painful process of cultural assimilation.

Present Day: Under the leadership of King William the Kingdom of Prussia Reborn has doubled in size to where it now controls sixteen systems and maintains a healthy and vibrant economy based on trade with several neighboring states including the Swabian League.

Culture: The people of the Kingdom are divided between those that recognize themselves as “Prussians” and thus “German” and those that still recognize themselves as Castellans despite the Prussian rule. For the most part these differences are peaceful enough save for that there are still many Castellan independence movements cropping up recently which have resorted to kidnapping and violence against Prussian officials and “traitors”. Many of these groups are suspected of being funded by the Anderan Regime.

Military: The KPR military is divided into three primary branches. The Prussian Navy: This is the space force responsible for defending the Kingdom from external threats as well as protecting against pirates and other hostile space borne threats. The current Prussian fleet maintains twelve battleships sixteen Swabian built Panzerschiff and a cruiser heavy support fleet, relegating frigates to the roles of scouting and surveillance preferring cruisers as the workhorse of patrols within KPR territory.

Prussian Army: The Prussian army is a relatively small but highly trained force of professional men and women all equipped as “Heavy Infantry” wearing full hardsuits and carrying some of the best infantry equipment available.

Death’s Head Hussars: The Death’s Head Hussars is a corps sized force made up entirely of men and women who have volunteered for lifetime service to the Kingdom. Once sworn in and after passing all the trials each member of the Death’s Head Hussars attends their own funeral where their family and friends mourn for them and say their goodbyes. After this grim ritual every member of the DHH is subjected to genetic enhancements making them stronger, faster and more resilient than normal humans resulting in a force of super human soldiers wearing powered armor and dedicated body and soul to the defense of the Kingdom.
