Background:
Kausa is a Mikaelan-born soldier and mechanic, very recently arrived in the Kabilae kingdom following the outbreak of war throught his homeland. Evidently arriving more or less a refugee, his knowledge and experience found a place for him in the kingdom's own military. Physically he appears thuggish; a (comparatively) huge, thick-skinned sandy-colored brute with innumerable scrapes and scars, though distinctive to military service. Particularly gouges in the bony material at the top of his skull and evidence of cuts along the bridge of his snout are common injuries due to riding in armoured vehicles. He is missing two fingers on his left hand, and is partly deaf in that ear. He won't say exactly how that happened, though most don't need much help drawing their own conclusions.

Contrary to stereotypes, he also possesses a keen intelligence with an impressive aptitude for complex machinery. Generally he is deliberate and methodical, with a cool demeanor that exudes an aura of weariness.

Goals:
Personal: I will be indispensable in building this rocket. This one won't explode. Maybe we'll still test it first though.
Grand: We're going to put this country on the map. No, metaphorically. Stop talking down to me I know it's literally on the map.

Convictions:
Personal: I can fix anything. Well. machines. I don't want to solve your relationship problems.
Grand: This country will accomplish its goals without anyone else's help. Those other guys are assholes.
