Karine and the Death Knight
<Karine> I was still stalking that DK

<FBH_> He's still in his courtier garb

<Karine> yeah, just waiting around for a chance to grab his recall gadget
<FBH_> You see him wearing it on his neck a few times
<FBH_> gleaming slightly
<Karine> Karine basically figures the rest of the party can manage. There's enough chaos and there's a 3-way contest between Rest of Party, the DK's, and the Assassins
<FBH_> mm
<Karine> So she'll be patient and wait for a vulnerability and also decrease GM load
<FBH_> She might want to let them know there are death knights here
<Karine> Pfft. You and I know both IC and OOC that that would result immediately in a huge battle that ends with them teleporting away to the next episode arc :p

- Karine has the thankless duty of dealing with the party's enemies in an organised manner!
<FBH_> is Karine actively maneuvering him or just waiting for him to get vunerabile
<Karine> At this point, just waiting and watching. I've heard a few things but I'm not sure of their immediate, exact intentions yet. Once I do, I might be able to but as it is, I don't have much to maneuver him by
<FBH_> he seems to do normal Abyssal out things
<FBH_> wander around, plot with his fellow death knights
<Karine> so what're they plotting?
<FBH_> occasionally seduce some maid and drink her blood
<FBH_> they seem to be mostly trying to just defend Crimson
<Karine> does he drain fatally?
<Karine> I'm not kept up with whether it has any effects besides lost health levels

<Karine> right, now I have most of a plan

<Karine> Okay, thank the UCS for essence recovery. Here's my plan:
<Karine> First I'm gonna chat up a likely, pretty maid that the DK has given a second glance to during his time here
<FBH_> Ok, you find one, her name is Red Flower
<Karine> Well, some seduction and scandals later, I slip her some sleep herb or something - something to keep her knocked out for quite a while, then I hide her somewhere.
<Karine> My plan is to actually use the Lunar natural ability to disguise as her and then nab the gadget when the DK drains me.

<Karine> er the Changing Moon natural ability rather
<FBH_> remind me what that does precisely
<Karine> Appear as a person known to the Lunar for a scene and gain Essence in dice to actions assisted by the trustworthiness of the chosen image
<Karine> I'd have to look it up for more precise pros and cons though
<FBH_> cool
<FBH_> Ok, the DK approaches you, you can feel him hitting you with social charms
<FBH_> "Good afternoon my dear :)" he smiles "do you have a moment"
- Karine acts, blinking and summoning a slight blush to her face and tremor to her voice. "O-of course."
- Karine was delivering sweets and drinks to some sector of the palace at the time.
<FBH_> "Good girl." he leads you into a side room and begins kissing your neck
<Karine> "Would you like something-eep..."
<Karine> "Oh dear, what if we are seen?" etc
<FBH_> "nobody will come by..." Karine feels a slight stab of pain and the Abyssal starts draining her a bit... she's got a good angle on him
<Karine> Okay, here's the complex part of the plan.
<Karine> I DO have enough essence for this to not go into banner btw

- Karine the maid is pretty hot up close. The DK takes in each exquisite detail of the shape of her body under the modest maid clothing.
<FBH_> He licks at her neck then switches to kissing her on the mouth.
<Karine> I activate Lost Mirror Flight, which inflicts an unparryable Debility level insanity
<FBH_> what insanity? or is it random?
<Karine> I want to narrow his awareness, so that when a detail is before him, he takes dice penalties to notice everything else. Then I'm going to activate False Burrow Pursuit and say that I saw a ninja matching the description of those deathlessninjas
- FBH_ rolls
<FBH_> Ok, his eyes go unfocused
<FBH_> he continues to kiss Karine as if she's the only thing in the whole world
<FBH_> what are you actually saying?
- Karine 's eyes go suddenly wide, as if she saw something go past at her angle, which allows her to see out the door, down the hall, and through that section of corridor where she'd been before being taken in here
<FBH_> He whrils around
<FBH_> "... did you see something?"
<Karine> (is the intruder situation known to the maids?)
<Karine> (I'm guessing it's been hush to now)
<FBH_> (yes)
<Karine> "Oh dear, someone did pass by! And it might've been a guest because I didn't recognize his clothes! Oh dear :o Do you suppose he was just one fo the guards though with that (Assassin's Weapn) and all.. I-I suppose they could be convinced to keep quiet... Oh dear oh dear..."
- Karine seems flustered due to the threat of scandal, combing her hands through her hair and activating False Burrow Pursuit
<FBH_> "I'd better call someone to investigate... or maybe I should check it out myself"
<FBH_> he heads out into the corridor and looks around
- Karine gets up and runs her...funnily shaped comb through her hair to get it back in order. No one noticed the comb before. It's got a little chain around it meant for hanging around some guy's neck. Dear me.

<FBH_> the death knight heads off in teh other direction
<Karine> phew
<Karine> Okay I bet they're annoyed enough with me as it is. Back briefly to the group.
