Background
A member of Bureau 9 in the 1920s, Buck had a bit of a problem with authority. Over the years and many adventurers he gradually came to sympathise more with the Aeon society than his own agency, and eventually defected. Since then he's worked for Aeon, and is now one of its highest ranking but most covert operatives.

Since 1924 when he captured the immortality process of a dying mad scientist he hasn't aged. In the 2020s he worked with Scarlet during her time in Project Proteus, they were briefly close, then broke up acrimoniously over differences in ethics, and operational processes.

He's still alive though, and now stands amid the web of Aeon's covert operations.
