Background

Jessica, and her twin sister Sarah, are the daughters of a pair of minor mages who met while studying under the same master. They had a relatively comfortable English middle class upbringing but were not really involved over much in the supernatural world until it became evident that they had far more magic circuits then their parents. As a result they were sent to study under a local master mage who was something of a family friend. Unfortunately, he had enemies – fellow mages who thought (correctly or not) that he had custody of some sort of powerful magical secret knowledge or artifact. One of those enemies arranged for a “training accident” that killed the master mage, Sarah, and his other two apprentices – Jess herself was spared only due to being home with the flu. In the aftermath Jess has found herself haunted by the wraith of her twin and being covertly hunted by the mage(s) who killed her master, as they think that he passed whatever he was allegedly hiding onto her. Add in the fact that her mother died of cancer when the twins were children and her father’s death in a car crash soon after the accident and well… she’s not exactly “Sane” when it comes to family. Jessica currently lives with her father’s much older sister, another minor mage, but their relationship could best be described as distant.

Sorcery

Jess was gifted with the Mystic Eyes of Fate by Hades, who she serves as a priestess and active devotee. They allow her to see Fate, including what a person makes of it, and manipulate it. This includes such things as stymieing an action in combat or causing/preventing events to take place. (Note: To be further developed after used in game and I see what it can do.) CIRCUIT + INT
