Backstory
Once there was a Colossus known as Transcendent Avatar of Victory, a towering Orichalcum behemoth which lost its life and forged the final chapter of its legend during the final battle to the Godhead to awaken Autocthon. Famed for his martial prowess, inspirational ability, and fearsome presence, the recovery of his soulgem and its recycling was thought to be an auspicious event. The new body was built as a worthy vessel for a hero of such glory-fitted with expensive combat charms, given an arsenal of inspirational tools, and the construction augmentations that it had used once to build an entire town, single-handedly. Decanted with four others, she stepped out of the vats looking the part.
Unfortunately what they got was a reluctant hero at best. More enamored of the perks of heroism than the actual task of being one, Iridescent Bladed Orchid was a massive waste of funding and resources considering the high expectations on her shoulders. Some Elder Alchemicals considered this a bout of rebellion against the pressure and suggested she be used as some sort of goodwill project-after all, her lack of courage under fire and laziness wouldn't matter in a place where only heroic mortals and god-blooded were around, as even a lackadaisical Celestial could exceed a focused god-blood. Desperately seeking a method to recoup the expense in her creation, they seperated her from her Assembly (quite glad to be rid of her) and sent her to some small province in a 'goodwill drive'.
