Imperial Stars: Stardust Crusaders
In Character Introduction
It is the year 58 After Treaty and the stars at war. The Great Houses of Taranis are on a razor's edge as Red Monday's aftershocks still shake the foundations of noble power. Already several of the Great Houses have fallen to prey to the Communist Revolution and the Crimson Banner Army ever grows in strength as headliners and cyberheadliners flock to its banner under the charismatic leadership of Fatima Rheins, the People's Knight.
However that is back in the Taranis Cluster, you are the Church's fist on the world of Iczhihal, the reborn Knights Astral, forged in the horrors of the Great Crusade, you are knights young or old, here willing or forced out due to politics. The rest of planet's military might would struggle in vain against your lance of Mortarheads. Now a gathering storm of the forces behind Red Monday begin to stir, Iczhihal will soon be the front line of the real war.
Out of Character Introduction
This is a future planned mecha game set in the Imperial Stars SD setting. It ran actually pretty decently and just barely lacked the spark to become a long runner game. In terms of scope it will have both naval and ground battles, and will be limited unit affairs. The starting party are the mortarhead pilots of a Church of Enoch run planet in the Church's home-sector. Its up to the party if they would want to stick with affiliation or change sides or whatever.
Party Archetypes
Veteran Crusader
Veteran of the Great Crusade in Mara Sector, they had watched the original order of the Knights Astral get reduced to almost nothing during heavy fighting.
Third Son
A noble for a powerful family, though due to never inherient anything other then the name and duty to the family. They either went willing or unwilling when the Church put out a call for recruitment
Church Knight
Many headliners are orphans raised by the Church and end up naturally working for the only family they know.
Black Knight
Mercenary, they may be working for the church for money or protection from a powerful foe
