The youngest son of the Freebird banking clan that manages the finances of the well-to-do Farnesian gentry. Previously a student of archaeology at the foremost university in Farnese, his formative years were spent making trouble: clambering all over the architecture for night time liaisons with the daughters (and the occasional pretty son) of nobility and beating up their elder brothers when necessary. Unable to complete his degree due to various circumstances, not least of all angering the Doge of Farnese himself, Holland escaped the city on board the scavenger boat The Other Woman and made that his career in the Adriatic Archipelago. An adventurer for hire looking for adventure.
