Hardsuits: Unlike ex-suits hardsuits are the first fully enclosed armored suit; as such the powered skeleton is included in the suit rather than over a suit of armor and equipment in the fashion of the exo-suits. Because of their fully enclosed nature hardsuits are better equipped to handle hazardous environments as well as offering better armoring for the wearer.


Standard: Standard hardsuits are designed to operate in normal battlefield conditions likely to be encountered up to and including limited NBC protection. Most standard suits can even operate for a short period of time in the vacuum of space.

Heavy Assault: The heavy assault hardsuit is designed for rugged survivability over maneuverability. They come with better armor, a small shield system and better environmental protection including operating as a fully functional space suit or hazmat suit.
