Born to a unremarkable middle class family in California wine country, young Beatrice should of never ran into the unknown or supernatural, till one night two years ago, when it killed her and her family and everybody in her small quaint village among the vineyards. After she had been bitten by the True Ancestor, she started to rise as mindless vampire, and for a week fed and hid in that animistic state, till she emerged as a dead apostle, who with the realization of what she had did fell apart mentality, and was just lying there when Professor Winslow of the Clocktower intrigued about the reports of vampires in wine country found her.

Seeing an rare opportunity to show up his fellows, he binded her under a geass and then dragged her back with him out of professional interest as well as sympathy as he had a daughter he age that had died due to magic test gone awry and needing some companionship. Since then, Beatrice has been a somewhat unusual figure at the Clocktower, not officially a student, but on staff there as sort of a super empowered hall monitor to make sure the students do not kill each other in public.
