The Sixth Battle of Luxor was a naval battle of the Long War fought by the forces of the Phoenix Empire and Killian's World against the [] Long Range LMC Expedition over the world of Luxor.

The battle was characterized by dysfunction. Friction between the Army of the Frontiers, Guard, and Navy commands in the absence of significant instruction from the Phoenix prevented a single figure from taking decisive control; while the Army of the Frontiers and 1st Capital Fleet were able to coordinate closely the 1st Guard Fleet operated largely on its own. The Ur-Real forces behaved erratically and with conflicting priorities.

A lone planetoid arrived well ahead of the rest of the force and demanded surrender, which was destroyed by the power of the Starforge.

With the retreat of the rest of the other Ur-Real and the destruction of the Rose of Nu-Paris, the battle would continue for several days inside the Hegemony of the Solar Wind. The fanatical and superhuman Ur-Real warriors within inflicted ferocious losses on all boarding attempts. The Imperial Capital Sector Theater Command would not declare final victory until [date] when the last holdouts were confirmed as eliminated.

The eventual result was a victory but at severe cost. The Army of Frontiers and 1st Guard Fleet were mauled, losing almost 78% of their effective force. The Imperial Army elements committed by Capital Sector Theater Command suffered grinding attrition in the bulkhead to bulkhead fighting within the Hegemony of the Solar Wind. The civilian casualties and damage to the Imperial Capital were astounding.

Ur-Real warriors and warmachines stubbornly resisted the growing footholds Imperial and Killian forces had won in several of its cavernous hangers and holds. The Thilixic Class carried a considerable complement of warriors in cold sleep intended for planetary occupation, many of which were waking to deal with the boarders. By the end of the first day of unrelenting combat Prince Cobthac and Imperial command staff began to fully grasp the true scale of the battle that had yet to be fought. Over the course of a week elements of the 5th, 18th, and 8th Imperial Army Groups from the Capital Theatre Command and a stream of Starforce regiments totaling almost 1.5 million troops were cycled through a continuing battle.

The last holdouts were found to have ritually self-terminated in gory fashion. Cautious, Field Marshal [insert name] insisted on waiting for a final clean sweep before declaring total victory.
