Apex Technology

The technology of posthumanity is advanced, far advanced beyond that of our own. Considering that conservative estimates place their cognitive abilities exponentially they seem eminently capable of designing esoteric technology. The main legacy of their technological advancement in is the myriad of devices and structures they have left behind, foremost of which are the A-Gates and the T-Gates. A-Gates are responsible for the scattering of posthuman technology among various powers, as even though they barely function they allow for the limited creation of extremely powerful devices, such as particle beam handheld weapons, quantum teleportation technology and other such esoteric abilities.

T-Gates are still the basis of the interstellar economy, as they provide a quick and reliable means of transport across large distances due to the relatively limited nature of space technology in the 22nd century.

Apex Blueprint

Apex Blueprint are the designs for a posthuman technology. They come as either common, uncommon, rare or special. It allows you to place a trait on any applicable unit. They have a production cost measured in assembler points and a restriction which is the amount of times you can produce the item. You can exceed this limit, but each unit beyond the limit costs 100% more than the last, due to the massive amounts of resources that must be expended for your act of copyright infringement.

You are free to design Apex technology as you see fit subject to GM approval, follow the example format.

Common

Cost: 5 Assembler Points
Restriction: None

Example:

Adamantium Power Armour
+1 Armor (Infantry)
Utilizing a posthuman derived alloy that was lightweight and exceedingly tough, APA was the favored power armour of the 5th Legion of the 3rd Jupiter Republic.

Uncommon

Cost: 10 Assembler Points
Restriction: 5 Prints per blueprint

Smartmatter Armour
+1 Armor (Infantry)
Smartmatter Armour was chiefly used by the Elite Rangers of the 2nd Brazilian Federation, due to it's high adaptatibility

Rare

Cost: 25 Assembler Points
Restriction: Rare blueprint are single use only. The encryption on the license codes are unbreakable.
