Races

The Mileins

A humanoid race of blue-skinned, white-eyed folk, the Mileins were largely a peaceful people until the rise of Queen Myo, and the conquest of most of their surrounding nations. They currently live in seclusion, their former ruler captured, and merely wish to be left alone.

The Restorers

Tasked by some unknown power to rebuild the ancient wonders of the past, the Restorers often come into conflict with others who 'own' the lands they're on. Restorers use psychic powers to invade the minds of others, sometimes inserting false memories to make them more like the old denizens (or in more benign cases merely giving them the knowledge to help rebuild the old cultures).

Restorers are tall, willowy humanoids in white cloaks and hoods, with ruddy-red skin.

Artifacts

The Fulcrum

One of the most sought after artifacts, this object – an eight-sided pyramid-like object about the size of a desk lamp – possesses considerable power over dimensions and space. When properly accessed, the device and alter and negate any distances – creating portals across space, pulling objects from anywhere. As long as it is given enough time to gather power – or is exposed to a strong enough energy source – any magnitude of effect is possible. The device is psychic, meaning it is controlled by thought – though most people don't control their thoughts enough to filter out casual thoughts from their intent.

The World-Eater's Armour

Worn by the alien tyrant Myo, this armour is pretty much anything a galactic despot could want. Myo was nearly unstoppable while wearing it; it protected her from most attacks, being cast from the metal of a certain meteorite that crashed on her homeworld. Weapons systems, top of the line on her world, became legendary when composed of the strange natural alloy. The armour also had a tendency to regenerate in the rare cases it was damaged – a quality it transferred to its wearer, along with super strength and speed. It was only when she was caught out of her armour that it was revealed Myo was just a bitter princess with a godly powered armour suit.
