Background
Misaka was raised and trained from early childhood by the ancient archmage Muhime and lived most of her life in the small, sheltered Horizon realm of Mayohiga. Her mentor having been of strange disposition at best since at least the Edo period, Misaka grew up as the straight-laced voice of reason, well behaved and always desperately trying to maintain some modicum of propriety in her master. Later, she was booted out of the house to various realms lower in the umbra, ostensibly to repay favors and complete her training but probably mostly just to tease her. After the latest traumatic stint at a Sengoku themed maid cafe in Akiba(True), she was finally deployed Earth itself for the first time.
