The High Knowledge Raid, also known as the Burning of Knowledge, was a Ventrian raid on the Yvnes system [insert stardate]. A small taskforce led by Knight-Commander Douglas attempted to capture the station of High Knowledge, masking their approach with a series of kinetic impactors aimed at the Homeworld. While the ploy succeeded in drawing away the YSDF the taskforce was intercepted at the last second by the Blue Fleet, which destroyed the naval infantry attempting boarding operations. Against all odds the Knight-Commander successfully escaped the system, destroying the station to cover his withdrawal.
In time the raid galvanized the leadership of Yvnes to end their unpopular isolationist practices. As well, the swift action of the Blue Fleet ingratiated Yvnes, which would prove instrumental in the foundation of the CoDominium.
