PC concept overview

There are four possibilities for faction-choices at the current time; EU, PACT (eg, Pac-AM), ZOCU and Indie. It may be best to have a backup faction in place, in case your first choice is not possible.


Peel: Minkowsky. ZOCU-aligned independent, space-adapted extreme transhumans, distinctive gravitophobic religion and culture, touchy nationalists.

Ent: Valera. Transhuman Amazons by circumstance, some diplomatic focus, Indie/PACT/EU possible, though the last one may require some fluff changes. Also, Boobs! ^-^

Koffee: Corrigedor. Project New American Century

MJ12: Adhara. High-end transhumans + PACT = ?

Oseng: Garun. PACT or EU/Second Stage Colony - older, well developed colony, with close ties to several of the Core Worlds. People live in massive space colonies - system wealthy from mining etc.

FBH: Haraway Transhumanist Feminist ZOCU house of war Haraway's_World

Screwball: New Mercia ZOCU, ice world, post civil war... you all know this by now. :p

Mal: Konan Principality

Zeromanicus : Fuso, Militant Transhuman ZOCU (OTAKU)

Dacis2: Aurelia PACT Financial Center. OR Forge World. OR EU Fleet Base. OR Phezzan. OR Saudi Arabia. The possibilities are endless!

Lokar: Hampshire ZOCU Thetis =o

Singh: Cook's World Exploratory outpost zomgwtfswarmed by refugees from the war which ended up becoming a full-blown nation.

Norseman: Balkans Basically a massively balkanized state filled with weirdo minorities. EU colony (still governed by a High Commissioner) Early National -> Dominantly Baseline -> Garden World - Population Boom -> History Volume 1 - Crisis - Muddle Through -> History Volume 2 - Military Action - Miner Beatdown -> The Breakdown - Broken-down - Civil Unrest -> Politics - Bureaucracy as Usual -> Economics - Ignore the War -> Military - Foreign Legionnaires

The Expanse League

A somewhat smaller assemblage of independent systems that fought together during the Magnate War. Having been somewhat further away from the Core Worlds than ZOCU, they ended up being ignored and in the aftermath of that war, quietly negotiated for a significant degree of autonomy. They do not have quite the array of advanced technologies of ZOCU, but conversely they are not labouring under post-war debt and limitations and mostly 'fly under the radar' of the superpowers.
