Cinnabar
- Player: Shrike
- A tall cyborg from the galactic South, implicitly Ventris or at least the CoDo. As a member of the Illuminated Life Society cyber-cult she has very little biological left in her body, perhaps not even all of her central nervous system. Her body is equally enhanced, built of advanced Ventrisan-Rifter cyberware from the ILS, much of which may not even be fully legal in Imperial space - especially considering the Cyberpathic Control Laws written after the departure of the Crusader fleet.
- Cinnabar claims to have been almost everything under the stars at some point; an outlaw, a lawwoman, a merchant, a soldier, a mechanic and a scientist are just some of the more high-profile lives she's claimed to have lived.
- Cinnabar's ship is the Sound of Silence, a small Yvnes-built Solostar - a one-man omniship, a miniature version of the Rifter Omnicruiser built in numbers to act as scouts, pickets, outriders, couriers and many other unglamorously vital tasks for the small but powerful CoDo fleet. The need for neural implants to interface with their avionics has not proved a barrier with many accepting the risks of neural cyberization to own such a ship.
Tierce Elation Verethegna de la Parsamyan
- Player: Lurker
- Background: Spy
Elation is a slightly built 55 year old Phoenician-Rifter. Their body modification is more understated, if no less extensive, than was the fashion before the Unification. Even the most arresting feature of their Rifter heritage, their headwings, fold up so neatly against their skull that they resemble a layer of their feather-hair.
- Elation is the third child of a "Susa Wedding" family, a famous Romeo and Juliet elopement - abetted by Queen Ravshana herself rumor has it - when intermarriage used to raise eyebrows. They elected to enter the Levée en masse early at 16 and eventually commanded a Destroyer division of the 14e System Control Flotilla "Swooping Swallows". After matriculating through Cosmostaff college they transferred to a Naval Surveillance analyst posting with liaison duties to Interservice Intelligence's synthesis chamber. After 27 years of cumulative service they went on half pay as a Colonel and joined a private venture facilitating trade to the Codominium and Free Star League from the terminus of the Commonwealth's public mixed-starlane and dysjunction drive transport service.
Lord John Bahrami
- Player: Lokar
Mysterious Phoenician nobleman either slumming or cooling his heels. Actually not that mysterious, totally not someone traveling under the name "Guy Incognito"... Totally not. Really. >.>
Samira Theresa bint Abdielle Norouzi
- Player: Ent
- Background: Mercenary
A new arrival to Big Sky, Samira comes at the behest of General Integrated Systems, her current employer. Tight-lipped about her mission and background, Samira leaves those who encounter her guessing, the hired gun’s only hints to her nature being a few trinkets, an old and well-maintained cavalry sabre, and the prototype plasma scattergun lent to her.
Sir Valiance von Elias
- Player: MW
- Background: Noble Knight
Valiance, often called "Val" by his friends, is about as close to a disenfranchised knight as you can come without actually having the title stripped away and your name run through the street as that of a traitor. Raised within the courts of the Gramhau March, he learned how to work his way through society and earned his knighthood through noble and righteous means. Much to the dismay of Valiance, his family ran afoul of the other barons and was stripped of their noble rights by the Margrave after a long and arduous period of political warfare, but thanks to his distinguished service, Valiance managed to just dodge the disenfranchisement of his family name.
Stripped of his greater nobility and feeling like he has nothing left to offer the Margrave directly or the Empire at large, he has struck out to Big Sky with his remaining possessions to bring back honor and nobility to the Elias name.
