Appearance:

A child who could be anywhere from eleven to thirteen years old at a glance. Has a boyish build and generally acts like a male/tomboy. Fairly dirty appearance with roughly hacked off brown hair and a rough set of tunic and trousers.

Background:

The daughter of a prostitute and one of her customers, Talen has never known any life but that of a homeless street urchin within the vast confines of Worldlink. Tossed out onto the streets at an early age upon the death of her mother she took up begging, pickpocketing, and stealing to survive. She has seen some of the worst aspects of humanity and is very mature and world-wise. While she is a tomboy through and through, she has other reasons for ensuring that she looks like a boy - helped along by her generally boyish build.
