The World

New Granada is a relatively temperate world which required only moderate terraforming to be suitable for human habitation. It has three large continents (uncreatively named East, South, West) that are undergoing the slow process of splitting apart and a significant number of island chains.

History

New Granada is one of the small handful of EU worlds that make significant use of transgenic technology. However, their use of transgenics is both more subtle and much more regulated then is commonly found in ZOCU or other heavy transgenic powers. Like many things there are pros and cons to this approach. While the government and the majority of the population support the EU there are also a significant minority of ZOCU sympathizers within the population.
