- Background Rin is from a lower-middle class family and after a pigtails-and-moe phase decided to get her life in order and ruthlessly pursue success. She transferred to Haruna Shin Seiiki due to its outstanding reputation and is well-known as a top achiever and ice queen. However her pitilessly darwinist outlook is a facade over hopeless shoujo romanticism which she indulges as the sole remaining member of the Fantastic Game and Story Club. The club's other members all graduated last year, and Rin herself is unable to bring herself to advertise and so reveal her hidden otaku nature.

Narumi's demure manner, mysterious paste and elegant beauty have made her a popular figure, though she seems not really to know how to deal with this.
