* Abiogenesis: Abiogenesis has a pool of (Biomanipulation + Stamina) and allows a Nova to create organic mass for usage with other powers (such as Form Manipulation and Body Manipulation) and seed barren environments with life. Abiogenesis rolls have a Duration of [1 Hour/Power Rating] and gradually consume local resources to replenish, adding an additional +1 Dif every time the power is used in a single scene. Every success on the roll creates [Quantum + Biomanipulation] kilograms of raw organic material of relative simplicity, including slime molds, plankton and fungi, which can be converted into other things with other Biomanipulation powers.
* Abiogenesis: Abiogenesis has a pool of (Biomanipulation + Stamina) and a Range of [Biomanipulation + Quantum x2] meters and allows a Nova to seed barren environments with simple forms of life. Combined with other powers, a Nova can colonize a dead world. Abiogenesis uses have a Duration of Maintenance, during which the Nova continuously saturates their environment with single celled life which can begin colonizing the local ecosystem.

:At the GM's discretion, lifeforms of greater complexity can be created at a higher difficulty, with a human being of average abilities with 2 or 3 in all Attributes having a difficulty of +3 and most plants having +1. Extended rolls are '''required''', as stopping the process before the requisite amount of mass has been produced causes the tentative lifeform to break down in a horrific fashion.
:No roll is required to fill a relatively placid Earthlike environment, unless the Nova is attempting to colonize a region with little or no organic (or those any form of life) compounds. Barren worlds such as Mars add +3 and extremely hostile worlds like Venus might add +5 or +6 difficulty. A Nova needs the Affects Microbes extra to make use of the raw materials created through Abiogenesis with powers such as Growth and Form Manipulation. Growth rolls however, will enrich soil and air rather than deplete it.

:Uses of Form Manipulation likewise incur difficulty penalties even with the Affects Microbes extra due to the unfamiliarity most Novas have with single-celled life and virion (beyond a purely academic understanding), averaging +5 or +6 difficulty. Literally converting a brackish pool filled with amoeba into a salamander is a tremendously superhuman feat that sidesteps hundreds of millions of years of evolution.

* Gauntlet: Gauntlet functions similarly to the Claws power, converting the Nova's hand to hand attacks to Lethal damage and dealing (Elemental Control) damage extra lethal dice in melee and hand-to-hand combat. Novas with Attunement 1 or more can enhance melee weapons (or various trash) with their Gauntlet effect, as long as these items do not exceed their weight limit.

:Like Claws, Gauntlet cannot functions differently with the Aggravated Extra, instead adding (Elemental Control + Quantum) Aggravated dice. It also receives the same Mastery effect, gaining a damage add in addition to extra dice.

Extra (also applies to Claws):
* Thrown Claws/Gauntlet: Novas with Attunement 1 or more can charge thrown objects with their Claw/Gauntlet effect by paying 1 Quantum. Should they need to exceed their weight limit, they can pay an additional 1 Quantum to bolster the effect. A side effect of this is causing the affected mass to become unstable, potentially splintering, shattering or '''exploding''' on impact in the case of more impressive Novas.

Biomanipulation

  • Abiogenesis: Abiogenesis has a pool of (Biomanipulation + Stamina) and a Range of [Biomanipulation + Quantum x2] meters and allows a Nova to seed barren environments with simple forms of life. Combined with other powers, a Nova can colonize a dead world. Abiogenesis uses have a Duration of Maintenance, during which the Nova continuously saturates their environment with single celled life which can begin colonizing the local ecosystem.
No roll is required to fill a relatively placid Earthlike environment, unless the Nova is attempting to colonize a region with little or no organic (or those any form of life) compounds.
Uses of Form Manipulation likewise incur difficulty penalties even with the Affects Microbes extra due to the unfamiliarity most Novas have with single-celled life and virion (beyond a purely academic understanding), averaging +5 or +6 difficulty. Literally converting a brackish pool filled with amoeba into a salamander is a tremendously superhuman feat that sidesteps hundreds of millions of years of evolution.

Elemental Control

  • Gauntlet: Gauntlet functions similarly to the Claws power, converting the Nova's hand to hand attacks to Lethal damage and dealing (Elemental Control) extra lethal dice in melee and hand-to-hand combat.
Like Claws, Gauntlet cannot functions differently with the Aggravated Extra, instead adding (Elemental Control + Quantum) Aggravated dice. It also receives the same Mastery effect, gaining a damage add in addition to extra dice.
