Principle ORDERS
Principle Orders hold most of the political and economic power in Heaven's Reach and also tend to be the most heavily augmented.

- Motto: Die With a Smile
The Grinning Reapers are the largest Military Order on Heaven's Reach. A Mechanised Infantry Division, they can count upon power armoured infantry, IFVs and integrated air support and transport. With an emblem of a Smilie face clad in the clothes of the Grim Reaper, they are not unknown for sardonic behaviour. As Exhuman idealists, serving with the Grinning Reapers requires a pound of flesh (most outfits require some sort of sacrifice in order to become a candidate), usually hands. These are replaced with cadet models and only replaced if you pass the exam (in recent years, the price of replacement limbs has allowed people to hide the shame of failure). Those who succeed are given the Hands of the Reaper, stylised cybernetic hands that look like those of a skeleton.
As a famous and well outfitted ORDER, Grinning Reapers hold significant power within the makeup of Heaven's Reach.
Dramatis personae
Leon Warspite
- Rank:5th Index
- Rank:5th Index
Leon Warspite is the Lord Paladin 5th Index of the Grinning Reapers, Soldier Class. Warspite himself is little more than a cyberbrain, 51% organic, with access to a variety of forms to suit the occasion. He is widely admired for his Exhuman zeal even among fellow Gears, though he also embodies a recent decadent trend of pomp, military honours and trophies. His residence's spartan architecture is undermined by trophies, high end customised armaments and combat sleeves.
His preferred form is a nine foot tall four armed robotic body, that resembles a custom power armour or small battlesuit.
Black Rabbits
- Motto: Graceful Death
Heavily augmented pilots form the basis of the Black Rabbits, small framed feminine Exhumans make up this small but important group of Mecha pilots. Graceful, cunning and rather unwisely prone to entangling themselves in physical combat outside of their Orbital Frames, they have a reputation earned on the back of the campaigns in the China arm as fierce and effective.
Dramatis personae
Sirius Baikov
- Rank:5th Tier
- Rank:5th Tier
Syria Baikov is the short, lithe and slightly crazed 5th Tier Exalt+ of the Black Rabbits. A mostly artificial body with sleek feminine curves, she displays signs of a tsundere personality towards her elite pilots. She is especially known for her expensive multitool leftarm, capable of multiple functions including short range beam rifle and sword.
Nosferatu
- Motto: The Blood Drinkers
One of the smaller Orders, Nosferatu are reclusive yet highly regarded. They are precise and tidy, with a well deserved reputation for mercilessness. Nosferatu are known for drinking the blood of their enemies, taking the genetic code of their enemies as a trophy, though some suspect they have also developed a taste for it as well.
Nosferatu are known for heavy cybernetic enhancement, sometimes to the detriment of their appearance, their flesh is pale yet smooth and often an artificial analogue placed over their light skeletal bodies. They still remain a humanoid appearance, unlike some of the more extreme Orders, but this is often nothing more than a light chasis, clearly inhuman.
Heaven's Watch
- Motto:
Heaven's Watch is the largest Order in terms of tonnage, being composed of Cruisers and Carriers. Spacenoids to a man, they are heavily altered for effeciency in space. They have a reputation for utiliarianism, closed ranks and a superior attitude, seeing space as the true domain of the Exhuman movement.
Bone Hunters

The Synthesis

- Payment:: Soul
- Motto: Vengeance
The most unusual Order on the planet, the Synthesis are highly independent and highly insular. They are in fact, 'ex'-magnates, forced to flee after the failure of their invasion. Small and almost childlike in appearence, they are known for a excellent coordination due to their wireless memory linkages and excel in a light infantry role. Syntha are only empathic to each other and have only a logical understanding of human morality. This has led to controversy, as they were known to regard civilian populations as a food source in dire circumstances.
