Imperial Golden Jade, born Keiji Sesus, was born with a streak of bad luck. Born into a Dragonblooded House, he seemed to drive himself from a younge age to excell in what was epected to him, an attempt to stave off the rumors that he was infact an illegitimate child. As if being laughed at by creation himself, Keiji never exalted as a Terrestrial, bringing a massive amount of dishonor to his family. Even so, with the lack of favor brought on by never exalting, Keiji graduated from the House of Bells and joined the Realm's Navy. Showing great Valor in combat, He fought hard, throwing himself into the heart of combat, never backing down from a challenge

Keiji's Exaltation came later in life, as during an engagement with Lintha pirates, all of his companions were killed, and Keiji, enraged, single-handedly boarded the Lintha Vessel, slaying every pirate who he came across. In the morning afterwards, Keiji awoke, his hair golden, his skin a bronze color. He had become Anathema.
