The Aulus Republic, is the known worlds only Republic, all the rest have been conquered (the majority by Aulus itself) or fallen to tyranny. They are a people unlike any other, where every citizen has a small measure of power and where merit struggles not against lineage, but the power of inherited wealth.
History
- The City of Aulus lies on the shores of the large freshwater lake Romulus, which feeds the river Remus. Ruled by a mighty Sorcerer, it's people rebelled and overthrew the last king almost a thousand years ago, instituting a system of Republic democratic rule. A fierce people, their mastery of strategy and unwavering self-belief soon saw their territory expand to their neighbors.
