Free Star League and Phoenician forces emerge victorious, though two Ur-Real Heavy Combat Units (Long Range) escape to the Rift Expanse. First sighting of the Obsidian Pharaoh.
- 15 January 5323 - Aurora is received at the SMS Mikado.

- After five years of work William de Brightstar passes a series of political reforms to Empire, mostly concerning noble-commoner relations, occupation and counter-insurgency. The "Brightstar Reforms" are well received both domestically and abroad. For his efforts Brightstar is named First Minister of the Empire.
