Customization

The existing stat lines are now the Baseline design, the most common class of that type in the national Navy and exemplary of doctrinal predilections. However, there are many different classes of ship in every category.

Up to 8 points can be changed.

Templates

Flagship/Experimental: +14 upgrade points
First Line: +8 upgrade points
Second Line: Baseline
Reserve: No modernizations OR -5 points
STL/Dragoon: +1 to Hull Type (can stack with another template)
Only First Line ships can take:
Plasma Cannon Upgrade
Dysjunction Drive Upgrade (tactical and strategic warp)

Spinal Cannon: 6 points
Vector Lasers: 1 point
Armor: 2 points
Shield: 2 points
Hull: 2 for 1 point
