Premise: You are the command crew of the Terran Confederation Raider ship Bonhomme Richard during the 8th interstellar war using an experimental jump-3 drive. The drive malfunctions and you find yourself propelled hundreds of years into the future during the Third Imperium, with the difficult problem of trying to fit in.
