Literally dropped into the Row, riddled with bullets, punching a hole through the canvas top of Omoi Kanako's little jalopy at age 15. With nothing but a sword in shirasaya, Agito had no way to repay the medical care that Kanako had provided, nor repair the old convertible. Instead, Agito pledged allegiance to the landlady, providing her with years of tirelessly refraining from chopping people in half. Through circumstances Agito would rather forget, she has also come to manage the small, struggling Shinto shrine, Mumei-jingu. Unceremoniously squeezed into the maze-like Tsukiji fish markets south of Otome Row, lonely, unloved and battered, its annual offerings are so meager that it is little more than a black hole of debt.
