HYCCA-9

The Hydra Cluster is a collection of stars, bordered on all sides by the Andromedan Sargasso. Humanity arrive here in the distant past and founded numerous kingdoms in the past, which were brought under heel by the Learna Kingdom and turned into a single state with its eight vassals.

After a succession crisis threatened to plunge the realm into chaos HYCCA was formed, an overarching administrative body that linked the various regional governments with increased standardization, oversight and the support of the capital. The administrative capital was moved to the then lightly-populated Nustadam District, which developed into a flourishing metropolis.

In the hundred years since that incident, the kingdom of Learna has enjoyed a long peace and allowed increasing autonomy and freedom to its districts- although with the advancing age of its monarch the realm may be advancing towards instability.
