Alabaster Dream of the Darkened Radiant
Story
The Abyssal now known as the Alabaster Dream of the Darkened Radiant was originally a young journalist touring the worlds of the Gem Cluster to report on the unrest when her group was attacked by terrorists. Picking up a gun dropped by one of the hired locals who'd ran at the first sign of trouble she attempted to defend the group - with predictable results. The last thing she remembered of her pre-exaltation life was lying in a world of pain, crumpled against the wall as her life's blood poured out.
And then a voice - in her ears or in her mind - saying Do you want your revenge?"
When she awoke from her dream she found her body and mind reworked by the the arcane technology of the Tomb-Stars and a new name - the Alabaster Dream of the Darkened Radiant. Swearing her loyalty to the Tomb-Star that called itself simply The Eschaton she became a Dark Soldier.
For years she laboured alongside and learned from the experienced Abyssal, Serene Mask of Purest Ruin.
